How do I make my first deposit?

Funding your balance is the first step to accessing the full functionality of WhiteBIT Australia. We offer several deposit methods — from classic deposits to internal tools for fast transfers. This article gathers all available funding methods so you can choose the most convenient one.

Here are the available deposit methods on WhiteBIT Australia:

  • Standard cryptocurrency deposit (transfer to your exchange wallet address);
  • AUD deposit (bank cards and payment providers);
  • Buy Crypto (quick cryptocurrency purchase);
  • WhiteBIT code (crypto transfers between WhiteBIT accounts);
  • WhiteBIT Check (receive funds without prior registration).

Standard cryptocurrency deposit

This method is suitable only if you already have cryptocurrency on another wallet or platform. To use it:

  1. Go to the “Balances — Wallet” section and click “Deposit” next to the desired cryptocurrency in the web version. In the mobile app, tap “Wallet” — “Deposit”.
  2. Select the “Address” method.
  3. Choose the network of your wallet on the other platform.
  4. Copy the address or use the QR code.
  5. Make sure you enter the correct recipient address on the sending platform and confirm the transfer.

AUD deposit

This allows you to fund your balance using a bank card or payment services. Here are the simple instructions:

  1. Go to “Balances — Wallet” and click “Deposit” next to the AUD currency. In the mobile app, tap “Wallet” — “Deposit”.
  2. Choose a payment provider.
  3. Enter the deposit amount.
  4. Send funds using the provided payment details.
  5. Confirm the payment.

     

Please note: check the daily deposit limit and the amount you will receive after the fee has been deducted. The fee depends on the provider you choose. All fees and limits for deposit in the local currency, as well as the available providers, are listed on the Fees page.

Buy Crypto

This is a simple way to buy cryptocurrency with AUD in just a few clicks. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to the “Buy Crypto” section on the top-left side of the website, or navigate to “WhiteBIT Products” — “Finance” or “Buy” in the mobile app.
  2. Select the AUD currency for payment and the cryptocurrency you want to receive to your wallet.
  3. Enter the amount.
  4. Choose a payment method.
  5. Click the “Buy” button and accept the Terms of Use.
  6. Confirm the payment.

WhiteBIT code

This is an internal code for instant, fee-free cryptocurrency transfers between WhiteBIT users. Here’s how to fund your balance using a WhiteBIT code:

  1. Receive a WhiteBIT code from another user.
  2. Go to “Products” — “Codes” in the web version, or “WhiteBIT Products” — “Finance” and tap “Codes” in the mobile app.
  3. Select the “Activate code” option.
  4. Enter the code. If your code is password-protected, enable the corresponding toggle and enter the password in the additional field.
  5. The funds will be instantly credited to your main balance.

WhiteBIT сheck

This feature allows you to send and receive funds without requiring the recipient to register in advance. It simplifies the process and makes it accessible even for new users of the platform. To fund your balance using a WhiteBIT сheck, follow these steps:

  1. Open the check.
  2. Click “Open” / “Unlock”. For a revocable check — click “Receive”. For a non-revocable check — enter the 6-digit code from the sender and set your own code.
  3. Fill in the required details (for EEA users): first name, last name, nationality, wallet type, and platform name.
  4. Select the network and enter your wallet address.

Please note: you can only receive the same cryptocurrency that was sent. The network fee is deducted from the check amount.
