Depositing with AUD on WhiteBIT Australia is one of the ways to fund your account and start trading on our exchange.
To do this successfully, follow our instructions:
1. Navigate to the deposit form
Go to “Balances” on the home page.
You can also use the yellow “Deposit” button in the upper-right corner. You will be redirected to the deposit window. Click on the “Select” or “Change” button and find the ticker of the Australian dollar (AUD).
2. Currency selection
Find the AUD in the list or enter the AUD ticker in the search bar. Click on the “Deposit” button to the right of the AUD ticker.
3. Provider selection
Select the AUD Banking Circle payment system. Next, read the disclaimer and if you agree, tick the box to give consent, then click Connect.
Your account is being generated. This is a one time operation, as it is your first time depositing via this method. Please check back soon and refresh the page. It may take up to 15 minutes.
4. Fees and limits
Familiarize yourself with the daily deposit limit (15,000 AUD), as well as with the amount of deposit that you will receive.
We also recommend checking the information about the minimum deposit amount by hovering over the icon next to the fee percentage.
All fees and limits for depositing, as well as available providers, are displayed on the Fees page.
Please note: if the transaction amount or daily volume exceeds 15,000 AUD, we may request additional data such as source of funds that would help us to process your request.
5. Deposit information
Enter the deposit amount in the “Amount” field and click the “Generate and send payment” button. To send funds, copy bank details from the “Payment sent” window and paste it into your banking application. Payment details are generated individually for each deposit.
From the moment the payment data is generated, you have 7 days to make the payment after which it will be impossible to make the transfer. All sent funds will be returned to the bank.
The owner of an account at the exchange can only top up his/her balance with AUD if the name and surname indicated in the KYC (identity verification) match the name and surname of the account holder at the bank.
Please note: the deposit may be returned if:
- payment from a third party (individual or legal entity not verified);
- the purpose is incorrectly indicated (loan, investment, in debt, for a product/service, etc.);
- if it more than 15,000 AUD per day and does not provide a source of funds within 2 working days;
- recipient’s details are incorrect.
6. Payment confirmation
The details and status of the payment will immediately appear on your screen. This information can also be found in the “History” — “Deposits” tab.
