Before you start withdrawing cryptocurrency on WhiteBIT Australia, please note the following important points:
- Before making any transactions, you need to go through the identity verification process (KYC) at the basic level or higher;
- In the withdrawal window, always check the list of networks (token standards, accordingly) that are supported on WhiteBIT Australia. And make sure that the network through which you are going to withdraw is supported on the receiving side. You can also check the network browser of each individual coin by clicking on the chain icon next to the ticker on the balances page;

- Make sure you enter the correct withdrawal address of the corresponding network;
- Remember that there is a Memo (destination tag) for currencies such as XRP, XLM, ATOM, HBAR, KAVA, JAM, LUNA, TIA, WAXP). Correct memo completion is a necessary condition for your balance to be credited after withdrawal. However, if memo is not required on the receiving end, simply enter "12345" in the appropriate field or check the "I don't have a memo tag" box.
Be careful: if you enter incorrect information when making a transaction, your assets may be irretrievably lost. Please make sure that the information you use to withdraw your funds is correct before each transaction.
How to make a cryptocurrency withdrawal using a website?
Before making a withdrawal, make sure that the desired asset is on your "Main" balance. In case the funds are not on the "Main" balance, you can make a transfer between balances directly on the "Balances" page.
Just click on the "Transfer" button to the right of the ticker of the currency you want to withdraw.
Then select from the drop-down list the transfer from "Trade" balance to "Main", specify the amount of assets to "Confirm". Your request will be completed instantly.
Please note: even if your funds are not on the "Main" balance, the system will automatically prompt you to transfer them from the "Trade" balance during the withdrawal confirmation.
When the funds are already on the "Main" balance, you can proceed to the withdrawal itself. Let's understand step-by-step how to withdraw funds from WhiteBIT Australia to another platform using Tether (USDT) as an example.
1. Navigating to the withdrawal form
From the main website menu at the top, click "Balances" and then select "Total" or "Main".
Find the currency by USDT ticker and click on the "Withdraw" button. You can also use the "Withdraw" button in the upper right corner of the balances page and select the desired asset from the drop-down list.
2. Filling out the withdrawal form
Read the important information at the top of the withdrawal window. Select the network through which the withdrawal will be made, select the fee currency, enter the address where the funds will be sent (it can be found on the receiving platform), and specify the withdrawal amount.
Please note: you can choose the currency in which the withdrawal fee will be charged. To do this, follow these instructions:
- Find the “Select fee currency” line in the withdrawal form.
- Click the “Select” button next to this line.
- Select the cryptocurrency you need from the list.
- If necessary, check the exchange rate used for the conversion on the Convert page. This is the rate at which the selected fee currency will be converted into the network fee currency.
- Confirm the withdrawal transaction. After that, the fee will be debited in the currency you selected, which will be automatically converted into the network currency to pay the fee.
For example, you want to withdraw BTC via the BTC network, where the standard fee is debited in BTC. However, you have decided to pay the fee in USDT, which is available in your balance. In this case, USDT will be converted to BTC at the Convert rate to pay the withdrawal fee. You will receive the selected amount of BTC, and the fee will be debited from your USDT balance.
Please take into account the minimum withdrawal amount and the fee (with the switch, you can choose to deduct the fee or add it to the entered amount). More information about the minimum amount and commission for each coin network can be found on the "Fees" page by specifying the ticker of the coin you need in the search bar.
Then click the "Continue" button.
3. Withdrawal confirmation
You will need to confirm your withdrawal using the code sent to the email that is linked to your WhiteBIT Australia account, as well as via 2FA (if you have Two-factor authentication or Passkey enabled).
Please note that the code you will receive in the mail is valid for 180 seconds. Enter it in the corresponding field in the withdrawal window.
Important: In case you did not receive an email with a code from WhiteBIT Australia or received it late, we recommend that you add the email address system@whitebit.au to your contact list, trusted senders list or whitelist in your email settings.
