In this article, we will describe how to get WBT in the Whitechain network using the available methods. 

Obtaining WBT via the WhiteBIT AU exchange

1. First, you have to make a deposit on the exchange via crypto or fiat.
2. Use the Convert function or the Spot Trading terminal to buy WBT.
3. On the Balance page, find WBT and select Withdraw. Please make sure that your funds are in the Main balance.
4. In the Network section, select the Whitechain option.
5. Enter the amount and your Whitechain address, then confirm with your email and 2FA codes.

Please note that WBT withdrawn to the Whitechain network arrives on Whitechain L2 as native WBT, the token you use to pay gas.

Bridging from Ethereum

You can also bridge WBT from Ethereum with the Whitechain Portal bridge. On Ethereum, WBT is an ERC-20 token at 0x925206b8a707096ed26ae47c84747fe0bb734f59; check the address before you bridge. The OP Stack canonical bridge does not carry native WBT.

The Portal runs on Testnet today at https://bridge.testnet.whitechain.io. Its Mainnet routes will be published when it opens on Mainnet.
