A trading terminal is a specialized interface that provides tools for market analysis and trade execution. It allows you to access spot markets, analyze price movements using charts and indicators, manage your orders in real time, and track your portfolio balances.
Terminal Interface Components
Selecting a trading pair
In the upper part of the trading terminal, you can select the desired trading pair. In the corresponding field, you can enter the ticker or filter the list by spot pairs. Next to the selected pair, you can see brief statistics, including trading volume and rate changes for 24 hours.
Chart analysis
The central place on the page is occupied by an interactive chart displaying the price dynamics of the selected cryptocurrency pair. In the web version of the trading terminal, you can use drawing tools for detailed market analysis. You can use them to mark support and resistance levels, build trend lines, apply technical analysis figures, and make notes directly on the chart.
Please note: these drawing tools are not available in the mobile application.
You can select the candlestick timeframe, set up quick access to favorite instruments, change the chart display type, and edit the display mode.
In the web version, you can select between the WhiteBIT base chart and the TradingView chart. The TradingView option provides additional analysis tools, such as technical indicators (e.g., EMA, Volume, RSI, MACD, or Bollinger Bands) and charting tools. It is also possible to analyze the market depth (order book) by switching to the appropriate chart display mode.
Additionally, you can expand the chart to full screen for easier analysis or set up notifications for a specific price or percentage change by selecting the alarm icon.
Order book and recent trades
In the Markets section at the bottom of the trading terminal, there is an order book. It displays a list of actual buy and sell orders in real time, helping you assess market liquidity and identify possible support and resistance levels.
In the order book, you can view and adjust the following parameters:
- Spread (the difference between the best buy and sell prices)
- Order book direction (display from bottom to top or top to bottom)
- Price step
To the right of the order book is the history of recent trades, which displays the execution price, transaction volume, and time of fulfillment.
Order placement form
In the Trade section, you can find the form for creating different types of orders. Here you can place orders to buy or sell an asset by selecting the appropriate order type and customizing the transaction parameters.
Order types are divided into Basic and Advanced categories:
- Limit: Allows you to set the exact buy or sell price.
- Market: Executes instantly at the current market rate.
- Advanced Limit: Includes additional execution conditions. Post-only ensures the order is added to the order book without immediate execution. BBO automatically selects the best price. IOC executes the order instantly, and the unexecuted part is canceled.
- Stop-Limit: Triggers when the specified stop price is reached and creates a Limit order.
- Stop-Market: Turns into a Market order after the stop price is activated.
- Multi-Limit: Allows placing several Limit orders simultaneously.
