How to change your password?

Steps to change your password:

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Go to “Security”

  1. Click Change password

  1. Enter your old password and choose a new password. For your convenience, there are tips below the new password line to create a strong password. Finally, click Save

Your account will automatically log out, and you will need to log in again using your new password.

Please note: If you do not have 2FA or Passkey activated, withdrawals will be restricted for 72 hours after the password change. We recommend securing your account and enabling two-factor authentication, which will also allow you to withdraw funds immediately after changing your password.

If you wish to lift restrictions before the end of a 72-hour block, you have to submit a request to support via support@whitebit.au or by creating a ticket.

Done! You will receive an email notification about the password change.

What should I do if I forget my password and can't access my account?

To reset your password, you can use the "Forgot Password?" function on the login page.

Then:

  1. Enter the email for your WhiteBIT Australia account.

  2. You will receive an email, open it, and click the Reset Password button.

  3. Enter a new, strong password.

Done! Then, you need to log in to your account again using your new password.

Important! When using the ‘Forgot your password?’ feature, withdrawals will be temporarily restricted for 72 hours for security reasons even with 2FA or Passkey enabled. To avoid this restriction, you must change your password only in your account settings with 2FA or Passkey enabled.
